Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Privacy Vault ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Privacy Vault is a mobile application that provides secure, encrypted storage for your personal files, photos, videos, documents, and passwords. All data is stored locally on your device with military-grade encryption.

User Responsibilities

By using Privacy Vault, you agree to:

Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
Keep your PIN, password, and recovery key secure
Not use the App to store illegal content
Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
Accept responsibility for all content stored in your vault

Encryption & Data Recovery

Important: Privacy Vault uses zero-knowledge encryption. We cannot recover your data if you forget your PIN or lose your recovery key. You are solely responsible for remembering your credentials and keeping your recovery key safe.

Your data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. The encryption key is derived from your PIN and stored securely on your device. We do not have access to your encryption keys or your data.

Subscriptions & Payments

Privacy Vault offers optional premium subscriptions with additional features:

Monthly Premium: $3.99/month
Yearly Premium: $29.99/year (Save 37%)
Lifetime: $49.99 one-time purchase

Important: Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's store settings.

Refund Policy

All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests should be directed to the respective app store according to their refund policies. HKSolutions does not directly process payments or refunds.

Intellectual Property

The Privacy Vault app, including its design, logos, and code, is the property of HKSolutions and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your personal content stored within the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Privacy Vault is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

The ability to recover data if you lose your credentials
Protection against physical theft of your device
Compatibility with all devices or operating systems

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HKSolutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Privacy Vault, including but not limited to loss of data or unauthorized access to your device.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new terms in the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to Privacy Vault at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
