We do NOT collect any personal information. Certo is designed with privacy as a core principle and works entirely offline.

No tracking or analytics
No third-party advertising
No data sharing with third parties

Local Data Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server:

Your reminders (title, optional note, time and schedule)
Your categories and their colors
App preferences (theme, language, text size)
Your one-time Pro purchase status

Offline by Design

Certo is built to work completely offline. The app does not require an internet connection to create, schedule, or trigger your reminders, and it does not send your reminder data anywhere. The only time the app communicates with an external service is through the official app store when you make or restore the optional one-time purchase.

Permissions We Use

To deliver reliable, on-time reminders, Certo may request the following device permissions. They are used only on your device to schedule and ring your reminders — no data is collected or transmitted:

Notifications — to show your reminders
Exact alarms — so reminders fire at the precise time
Battery optimization exemption (optional) — so reminders are not delayed in power-saving modes
Run after restart — to re-schedule your future reminders if your device reboots

In-App Purchases

Certo offers an optional one-time "Pro" purchase. Payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All payment data is handled exclusively by the respective app store.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Certo is safe for users of all ages.

Security

Since we don't collect personal data, there's no personal information at risk on our side. Any data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's built-in security features.
