HKSolutions ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ScanVault mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how ScanVault handles your information.

Information We Collect

• No account registration required
• No personal data collection
• No tracking or analytics
• No third-party advertising
• No data sharing with third parties

On-Device Processing

All document scanning, OCR text recognition, and PDF processing happen entirely on your device. Your documents and their contents are never uploaded to any server or shared with us.

Local Data Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device:

• Scanned documents and PDFs you create or import
• Recognized OCR text, used only for local search
• Folders and tags you create
• App preferences (theme, language, app lock settings)

Security & Encryption

ScanVault protects your documents with an optional app lock (PIN and biometrics) and optional on-device AES encryption for your vault. Encryption keys are stored in your device's secure storage (Keychain / Keystore) and never leave the device.

Permissions

ScanVault requests only the permissions needed for its core features:

• Camera — to scan documents
• Biometrics — for the optional app lock
• File access — only when you import or export a file

In-App Purchases

The one-time Pro upgrade is processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All payment data is handled exclusively by the respective app store.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. ScanVault is safe for users of all ages.
